Newcastle, Sunderland and Arsenal were all said to be interested in Sheffield United defender Kyle Naughton during the January transfer window, and now Tottenham, Manchester City and Fulham are chasing the 20-year-old .
All this interest begs the questions, who the hell is Kyle Naughton and why does everyone want to sign him?
Here's all you need to know.
1) Kyle Naughton is a product of Sheffield United's youth academy, and the Blades are the only club he's ever been signed to.
2) He did, however, enjoy a loan spell at Gretna in the Scottish Premier League in 2008, facing Rangers on his debut for the club.
3) His natural position is right back, although he can play a more attacking right midfield role.
4) Naughton made his league debut for Sheffield United in September last year in their 2-1 Championship victory over Watford. He was named man of the match for his display.
5) He has represented England U21s twice since making his debut against the Czech Republic in November 2008.
6) In October last year writing in the Guardian Steve Claridge valued the defender at £1m, although reports today suggest that Aston Villa are prepared to pay £4m for the player.
7) During his time at the Blades' Academy he captained the Academy side to a place in the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup in the 2006/07 season.
8) Gary Speed is a big fan of the youngster: "If he keeps working hard in training and keeps doing what he's doing he could go right to the top," says Speed. Watch the full interview here .
9) As well as being a strong defender and confident on the ball, he's not bad in the air, as this clips shows (shame he's heading into his own net).
10) And finally, here's a link to a piece of video featuring Kyle Naughton talking up Sheffield United's Cup prospects . Check out his south Yorkshire accent.
