Defender Lauren has been told he can leave Portsmouth in the transfer window after pocketing a staggering £65,000 in wages for each of his 20 Premier League starts.
The 31-year-old former Arsenal star, who joined Pompey in a £25,000-a-week deal in last January's transfer window, is lining up a move to Greek giants AEK Athens.
Portsmouth executive chairman Peter Storrie said: "Lauren and Richard Duffy have asked to leave in the transfer window and we have said yes.
"They have to find new clubs and their agents are circulating their names."
