Lee Carsley hoping to inspire Birmingham to promotion

Lee Carsley hopes to finally land some silverware by inspiring Birmingham's promotion bid next term.

Brummie Carsley, 34, left Everton on a free, snubbed former clubDerby and agreed a £25,000-a-week two-year deal to join relegated City.

Carsley (above) said: "I've had a good career so far, but I've got no medals to show for it, and my main thing now is to win the Championship."
