We are bottling the promotion battle says Leeds star

Robert Snodgrass has accused his Leeds team-mates of bottling their promotion bid.

Simon Grayson was sacked as boss 17 days ago and they go into today’s derby having won only three of their last nine fixtures.

“There’s enough talent here to go and win games, but it is down to getting the mindset right,” said Snodgrass. You need a winning mentality and I don’t think we have got it right now.

“As players we need to earn the right to win matches and put our bodies on the line.

“At the moment, I don’t think that is happening.”

The Scotland winger added: “Every game you go into you have to believe that you are going to win it.”
