Joleon Lescott will have to demand a transfer from Everton to push through his big-money move to Manchester City.
The England defender has been left in limbo with City refusing to increase their £15million offer and Everton refusing to budge on their £20m asking price.
City feel it is down to Lescott to force the issue and would like him to tell Blues boss David Moyes he wants to move. They would double Lescott's money to £80,000-a-week.
