Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has beaten Barcelona to the signing of Spanish teenage sensation Jesus Fernandez, 16.
Fernandez, nicknamed Suso, is flying in to sign shortly and his family will be joining him as he makes his way through the Anfield youth ranks.
The Cadiz youngster is a midfielder in the Cesc Fabregas mould, and Benitez used his Spanish connections to win the race - as Football Spy revealed on May 15.
Liverpool defender Fabio Aurelio may miss the start of the season after damaging his knee playing with his children in the garden.
