Dalglish: Seventh place? Big deal

Kenny Dalglish last night demanded more from his Liverpool players after they climbed to seventh in the Premier League.
It is their best position of this difficult campaign, but Dalglish is not satisfied.
"I think we are better than that," said the Liverpool manager. "It's getting a wee bit more realistic, but we're not getting carried away by being seventh.
"That's not where this football club wants to be. We want to be further up than that.
"Our only target is to beat Stoke next Wednesday. That's been the same since I came here. We've never gone out and said we're going to do this or that."
Liverpool 1-0 Fulham: Slice of luck for Kenny
John Pantsil scored a comic own goal and Liverpool endured a nervy finale before Dalglish could celebrate his first Anfield win since returning as manager.
"I think Fulham will be feeling a little bit hard done by," said Dalglish, who revealed midfield prospect Jay Spearing has suffered a broken foot. "They will think they deserved something from the game.
"Tonight the boys showed a great amount of determination and effort, so great credit to them. They have had a hard run of games and I think this type of victory has been a long time coming.
"We had some bad luck as well and Fernando Torres' goal was onside and we never got it. "
Mark Hughes felt his Fulham side did not deserve to extend their winless run at Anfield to 30 games and claimed his side dominated for large parts of the game.
"We are shaking our heads in the dressing room," he said. "I've been involved with many teams as a player and a manager who have come here and been totally dominated and be lucky to get anything out of games, but tonight was completely the opposite.
"To come here and really take the game to Liverpool and not get anything out of it is really disappointing. Apart from a five to 10 minute spell after half-time when we conceded the goal, I thought we were by far the dominant team. We just couldn't make our dominance count unfortunately.
"This defeat does not dent out confidence because we are playing well."
Meanwhile, the trail on Blackpool skipper Charlie Adam has gone cold for Liverpool.
Adam and his agent were due to have a sit-down with Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston yesterday to ask why the club are blocking his move to Liverpool, but hard-liner Oyston refused to discuss the situation with the player.
Hughes also revealed his bid to sign Shaun Wright-Phillips on loan looks set to fail and he said: "There seem to be things which are being put in our way."
