Roy Hodgson's first competitive match in charge of Liverpool will be against either Rabotnicki or Mika in the Europa League.
The Reds were paired with the east Europeans in today's draw for the third qualifying round at UEFA HQ in Nyon.
Macedonian side Rabotnicki are favourites to progress and they beat Armenian outfit Mika 1-0 last night in the first leg of their second round qualifying tie with a late winner from Brazilian striker Wandeir in Skopje.
Reds coach Sammy Lee will know all about Rabotnicki and he was Bolton boss when they beat them in the UEFA Cup in 2007.
The first leg will be on July 29 with the return on August 5.
