Steven Gerrard insists Liverpool must get Fiorentina out of their system when they face Chelsea in Sunday's title showdown at Stamford Bridge.
The Reds skipper has told his team-mates they have to bounce back from their woeful Champions League display when they tackle Carlo Ancelotti's side.
"It was a really disappointing night," said Gerrard. "We are disappointed with our first half performance. We just didn't turn up and were second best all over the pitch. We deserved to go in behind.
"We didn't do what we usually do in Europe. We usually play with a high tempo, pass the ball well and play really well on the counter-attack.
"Those things weren't there and it was all over the pitch - from front to back.
"Now we've got a massive game at Chelsea on Sunday. We have to get this result out of our system quickly and show a reaction at Stamford Bridge."
Lucas claims Liverpool must beat the Blues to boost their confidence before the international break.
The Brazilian midfielder does not want to spend the next fortnight mulling over a disastrous week for the Reds if they also flop at Chelsea.
"We must learn from these mistakes and bounce back at Chelsea," he said. "We must win there before the international break to boost our confidence.
"Chelsea are in good form at the moment, certainly at home, but we know we can do it if we go there with the right attitude.
"We have the quality to get a win there, that will then improve our confidence for our next games after the international break."
