Liverpool's owners are ready to make Kenny Dalglish Liverpool's permanent manager, according to reports in Sunday's papers.
The Sunday Express claims the Kop legend has been offered a two year deal and substantial transfer funds to take the Reds back to the top of the English game.
Dalglish took over from the sacked Roy Hodgson in January on a temporary basis but has made no secret he would like the job long-term.
The Scot has transformed the club's fortunes since taking the Anfield hot-seat for the second time and the fans are desperate to see him given the job.
It is thought he wanted a four-year deal, but owners American owners John W Henry and Tom Werner are reluctant to give him any more than two-years at first.
According to the Express, negotiations are still ongoing.
