Liverpool still interested in cup-tied Gareth Barry

Liverpool will offer Aston Villa a cut-price fee for Gareth Barry after the player cup-tied himself last night.
Barry scored four minutes into Villa's UEFA Cup clash as Martin O'Neill's side beat Hafnarfjordur.
But by playing in Iceland Barry ruled himself out of the Champions League until January and Liverpool want his £18million price tag reduced.
O'Neill insisted: "He wanted to play. Nothing would have stopped him so that is pleasing. He knew the consequences, the decision was very much his."
Rafa Benitez believes Barry is still worth signing as he could play in key Champions League games next year.
But the cash appears to have run dry at Anfield and Barry, with two years left on his Villa contract, is now even willing to discuss a new deal.
