Maxi Rodriguez ready to join Liverpool exodus

Maxi Rodriguez is ready to join the exodus from Liverpool, with his old club Espanyol keen to take him back to Spain in a bargain deal.
The Argentinian wide man only joined Rafa Benitez’s club last season but may not be a major part of Roy Hodgson’s plans and his agents have already made contact with the Barcelona-based team.
Rodriguez played for Espanyol at the start of his career in La Liga and would be welcomed back, although the fee may not be much for the former Atletico Madrid star.
Hodgson has several players on the wanted list of foreign clubs in the wake of Benitez’s departure and the Rodriguez move will depend on the size of the bid - and whether the Kop can find a suitable repalcement.
