Liverpool lead the race for free-agent Cole

Liverpool have stolen a march on their Premier League rivals in the race to sign Joe Cole.
The former Chelsea star is available on a free transfer and both Tottenham and Arsenal are keen on signing the England man.
But Roy Hodgson's Liverpool are now in pole position after offering Cole a massive £90,000-a-week, three year contract.
Hodgson is keen to snap Cole up and prove to Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres that the club is still ambitious enough for them to stay.
