Luiz Felipe Scolari vows: I'll do it my way at Chelsea

New Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari last night insisted he will lay to rest the ghost of Jose Mourinho - by doing things his own way.
Mourinho is a legend at Stamford Bridge after promising - and delivering - the club's first title for 50 years in his first season. He then went on to defend it and added two League Cups and an FA Cup.
But the Brazilian said: "My name is Luiz Felipe Scolari, not Jose Mourinho. I have my own personality and I follow my way, not another way. I don't know whether Mourinho said he'd win this or that. But I say things differently. I say what any coach would say in the world: that we need to win. Only this.
"I have young players at Chelsea. I've got experience at Chelsea. We've got the desire to win. We are in a position where we can succeed."
Scolari was speaking in Macau ahead of Chelsea's second game - against local side Chengdu Blades - on their Far East pre-season tour. The World Cup-winner added: "My way at Chelsea is the same as in my way in my life, in the clubs and the national teams.
"What we want for the clubs that I worked before: winning. To win. Chelsea is the same. The national team is the same. This is my way and I follow this way. My way. Only this."
Chief executive Peter Kenyon confirmed last night talks for Real Madrid striker Robinho are 'ongoing'.
