Man City to play Faroe Islands tie: A fans' tourist guide

Man City will play Faroe Island Cup winners EB/Streymur in the UEFA Cup first qualifying round.
Today's draw pits Mark Hughes' men against a side that has never won the Faroe Island league, but EB director Roland Hojsted is hopeful that his side can win.
"What can they expect? They can expect to lose," he laughed.
Man City fans, meanwhile, can expect whale blubber, dancing and drunks if they make the away trip on July 17.
Here, especially for them, is our Faroe Islands Tourist Guide.
Language: Faroese is the national language and is rooted in Old Norse, or Viking. If you want to be understood, just wear a Viking helmet and shout a lot.
Sport: Football plays second fiddle to rowing, whaling and the bi-annual Island Games. The annual rowing competition takes place in Tórshavn harbour, while the Island Games features such sports as judo, volleyball and archery. Whaling is what Mark Hughes will be doing if Man City lose.
Food: Get stuck into wind-dried mutton, whale blubber and puffins. Perfect after a night on the tiles.
Drink: Weak lager is dished out in shops like fizzy pop, but watch out for the Danish spirit Aalborg Akvavit which is both popular and potent. Thankfully for Man City fans public drunken-ness is quite common, and bars are not allowed to throw any drunks out. Even Micah Richards.
Music: Forget about Oasis, The Smiths or The Stone Roses, well-known bands include Týr, Gestir, Boys In A Band and 200, while the Faroe Islands have the G! festival to rival the UK's V Festival. Although the line-up is probably better.
Dance: If you go out on the razzle in the Faroe Island and end up in a night club you'll be pleased to learn that dancing Faroen style is pretty simple. They have one dance for all occasions and all types of song - simply speed it up or slow it down if the tune is happy or sad. Sadly for Stephen Ireland doing the Superman dance on the dancefloor is frowned upon.
