Manchester City strikers, then. We've had the Carlos Tevez saga, the magnificent madness of Mario Balotelli and now it's the turn of young John Guidetti to do something galactically stupid - earning himself a red card by taking his shirt off.

Your nan could tell you that topless goal celebrations bring a booking, but on-loan Guidetti, already on a yellow card, did it anyway after scoring for Feyenoord in the Dutch league on Saturday.

And then he had a go at the referee about it!

Guidetti's goal had given Feyenoord a 77th minute over RJK Waalwijk, but the 10 men fought back to earn a 1-1 draw.

Afterwards, Guidetti admitted: "I feel terrible.

"I apologised to my team-mates. I hope they can forgive me."
