Roberto Mancini has urged his Manchester City players not to waste the chance to finish fourth and clinch the last coveted Champions League spot.
City are level on points with fourth-placed Tottenham and a point ahead of Liverpool. Crucially, they have a game in hand on Spurs and two on Rafa Benitez's side.
And Mancini believes his players are in pole position to win the race for fourth spot, but only if they keep their heads - starting at Sunderland on Sunday.
"Sunderland will be a difficult game for us and we can only win if we concentrate and give 100 per cent," said Mancini.
"We have one game in hand in respect of Tottenham and two in respect of Liverpool, so we have a great chance to finish fourth.
"There are four teams, including Aston Villa, going for that fourth place, and if we want to get it we must give 200 per cent in every game between now and the end of the season."
