Manchester City fail with £30million bid for John Terry

Chelsea revealed last night they have snubbed an offer from Manchester City for skipper John Terry.
The bid is around £30m - the second time the rich Eastlands club have tabled a move for the England defender.
A Stamford Bridge statement said: "It was made clear to City, for the second time following another approach last season, that we would not entertain any conversation on the subject.
"We would like to make it clear, and will not do so again, that John is not for sale."
But Terry will be disappointed that Chelsea have failed to sign the two players he targeted for the new season.
He urged the Stamford Bridge board to pull out all the stops to try and land Valencia's David Villa and Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery.
Chelsea gave up on Spain striker Villa when he made it clear he wanted to stay in Spain.
And now Ribery has declared: "I want to leave but it will be Real Madrid or nothing."
