Manchester City set for Uefa Cup Fair Play place

Manchester City are in line to play in Europe next season after England was awarded an extra place in next season's Uefa Cup for finishing top of the European Fair play league.
A potential European berth would be a huge attraction for potential managers as Thaksin Shinawatra seems determined to swap current boss Sven Goran Eriksson for another big name, with the Swede having talks with Benfica this week.
Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham are above City in the fair play league going into the final weekend of the domestic season but have already secured their places in Europe by qualifying for the Champions League or, in Spurs' case, for the Uefa Cup by winning the Carling Cup.
The FA Cup winners and the team which finishes fifth - set to be either Everton or Aston Villa - will join Spurs and the fair play-qualified side, giving England four clubs in the competition.
Norway, Denmark, Sweden , Finland, Germany, Spain and France will go into a ballot for a further two places after finishing behind England on fair play.
How do you think this will affect Sunday's games? Will City's players pull out of any risky challenges to preserve their Fair Play position? Post your opinions on this story - and more - in our Footy Forums .
