Manchester City snatch Chelsea's top talent-spotter

Manchester City are snatching top talent-spotter Gary Worthington from Chelsea to fill Brian Kidd's boots as their new star finder.
Veteran Kidd has moved up to become Roberto Mancini's right-hand man and he is behind the swoop for Worthington who will take his job as City's youth recruitment officer.
Kidd and Worthington worked together at Leeds United and the appointment - due to go through next week - shows that the old head has a big say within the corridors of power at Eastlands.
There was shock when Kidd was put back into the first-team picture but he has swiftly been replaced in the shake-up at City after Mark Hughes's departure.
Landing Worthington is a major coup as he knows all of Chelsea's targets in the teenage market - and was involved in setting up several deals that have gone through in the past and could do in the future.
City have admitted they want to dominate that market and taking a key employee from a major rival will shake up that part of the transfer market even more.
