Manchester City swoop for Portugal star Ricardo

Manchester City will try and sign the Portugal goalkeeper Ricardo.

Luis Felipe Scolari, who has has been offered the City job, is a major fan of Ricardo.

The player has a deal until 2011 but has fallen out with Real Betis coach Francisco Chaparro.
