Manchester City to hold talks with Blackburn's Mark Hughes

Mark Hughes is expected to be given permission to talk to Manchester City today about becoming their next manager.

The Blackburn boss has been lined up as successor to Sven Goran Eriksson, who will be axed by owner Thaksin Shinawatra.

Hughes has also been linked to the Chelsea job.
