Manchester City to make new bid for John Terry
Published 00:00 08/07/09 By By Mirror football
Manchester City will go back with another bid for John Terry despite Chelsea insisting their captain is not for sale.
City's billionaire Arab owners have already had a £30million offer turned down and new Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has pledged that Terry is not for sale at any price. But City will test Chelsea's resolve by trying again.
The England star will be offered £280,000 a week, doubling his wages. He has stayed silent, and starts pre-season training tomorrow.
