Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent has ruled out a reunion for the striker with Roberto Mancini at Manchester City.
Mancini is a huge fan of the Barcelona hitman and the Swedish international was on the City boss' list of striking targets.
However Ibrahimovic's agent, Mino Raiola, claims the former Inter Milan star wants to stay at the Nou Camp.
"He has a contract with Barcelona and he wants to show his value 100 per cent," he said. "He is focused and he wants to start the season in style at Barcelona."
Mancini has also had to admit defeat in his attempts to lure Fernando Torres along the M62 from Liverpool.
However he remains determined to buy a striker and has set his sights on Inter's Mario Balotelli.
The Italian believes he can tame the bad boy of the San Siro, having brought him through the ranks at Inter, and the teenager is also keen to work with his former boss in England.
Chelsea are also said to be tracking Balotelli and reports claim City have made a £23million offer for the Italian Under-21 international.
