City offer Robinho to Inter in bid to seal Balotelli deal

Manchester City have offered Brazilian striker Robinho to Inter Milan in an attempt to land Mario Balotelli, according to reports in Italy this morning.

According to Italian sports daily Tuttosport, City are willing to send Robinho on a season-long loan to Inter to try to bring down the price for Balotelli.

Inter are currently demanding €30m, but Tuttosport says the Robinho offer may bring the price down to around €26m, plus add ons.

While the Italian champions would prefer a straight cash deal, Rafa Benitez's new club may be willing to compromise.

"Negotiations will continue on Monday," Inter president Massimo Moratti said.
