Manchester City treat football like "a supermarket", says Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger

Arsene Wenger has accused the new owners at Manchester City of treating English football "like a supermarket" by unsettling superstars at rival clubs with monster wages.
Following the capture of £34m Robinho, the Abu Dhabi Group have gone on record suggesting they are willing to spend £135m on Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo.
Arsenal's own Cesc Fabregas and Liverpool's Fernando Torres are also on their wish list but Wenger rapped: "Football is not a supermarket. You cannot come out and say 'we pay £250,000-a-week to Ronaldo and £135million', when the player has a six-year contract with United. It is not possible or acceptable.
"There is money in the game, and I take it in a positive way - but the football bodies have to make sure that money is ruled properly and used well for the ethics of the game."
