Manchester City will announce £19m Jo signing today

Manchester City will today announce the £19million signing of Brazil striker Jo.

City have called a press conference for 5pm at which boss Mark Hughes and executive chairman Garry Cook will tell of the capture of the CSKA forward for a club record fee.

Jo becomes the first signing since Hughes took over from Sven Goran Eriksson and is expected to meet his new team-mates on their return from a pre-season training camp in Germany.
