Ryan Giggs and Michael Carrick were the most high-profile absentees from Manchester United's training session this morning.
Carrick missed the session ahead of tomorrow's Champions League group game against Romanian side Otelul Galati at Old Trafford.
Ashley Young and Chris Smalling, the former suffering from a toe injury and the latter a foot fracture, were also absent from training, which was overseen by Sir Alex Ferguson, who was joined by his former skipper Bryan Robson.
Rafael Da Silva, out since the start of the season with a dislocated shoulder, was back in full training, as was Darron Gibson, who has recovered from a broken metatarsal.
