Wayne Rooney has recovered from a throat infection and is fit to face Tottenham this weekend, Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed.
The Manchester United striker has missed the last two club games and the midweek international against Holland.
But the Red Devils boss says his star forward will be back for the match at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
"Rooney is fit and trained all week (but) Cleverley and Valencia are still out," said Ferguson.
Chris Smalling may also miss the game after his heavy clash of heads with Klaas Jan Huntelaar in England's 3-2 defeat to the Dutch on Wednesday.
"Chris is our only doubt," he added,
"There was no concussion but he got quite a nasty cut and it is something we need to tread carefully with."
Michael Owen is also missing.
However, none of the injuries are long term, with even Owen now seeing some light at the end of a tunnel after four months out with a thigh injury, the latest in a succession of muscular problems that have blighted his entire time at Old Trafford.
"Hopefully Michael can have a little bit of luck now because he has not had much of that at all.
"His injuries have always been long-term but hopefully he will be back for the end of the season now, which would help us," said Ferguson.
