England star Wes Brown was at the centre of a nightclub fracas early yesterday morning.
The Manchester United defender, 28, allegedly shoved a group of men who were teasing him and his teammates, including Rio Ferdinand.
A witness at the Circle club in Manchester said: "The guys in the booth next to them were these loud, cocky businessmen.
"They started goading the Man United players. Wes Brown was pushing one of them a lot.
"It was all over without any punches being thrown. No one was hurt. The bouncers ejected two of the other group and the players were able to finish their drinks."
