Wayne Rooney tweets hair transplant pic - see it here

Wayne Rooney has posted the first picture of his new hair transplant on Twitter.

The follicly challenged forward confirmed to his followers on Saturday that he was having the treatment.

"Just to confirm to all my followers I have had a hair transplant. I was going bald at 25 why not. I'm delighted with the result," he told fans on the social networking site.

And this morning he posted the first picture of the results, which you can see above (click the full screen option to see the pic in full size).

The Manchester United striker added: "Hi all there's my head. It will take a few months to grow. Still a bit bloody to. But that's all normal. #hairwego"
