Manuel Fernandes keen on summer move to Portsmouth

Everton midfielder Manuel Fernandes is lining up a summer move to Portsmouth after revealing he wants to quit Valencia and return to the Premier League.

Pompey had a £6million bid for Fernandes, 23, rejected during the transfer window, but Valencia could be forced to sell the Portuguese international to ease their financial problems.

Fernandes said: "I love the Premier League and I want to come back and play there. The atmosphere during games in England is unique."
