Marlon Harewood close to securing move to Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough want Marlon Harewood this summer after Aston Villa put a £1.5million price tag on the striker.

Harewood, 29, is anxious to quit after only making one Premier League start for Villa since a £4m move from West Ham in July 2007.

Boro are interested but Wolves have turned down the chance to sign him after a loan spell.
