Michael Owen: I want to be part of Kevin Keegan's Newcastle revolution

Michael Owen was Newcastle's derby hero yesterday, and gave his strongest hint yet that he will be around for a lot longer to enjoy the adulation of the Toon.
The England hitman netted twice in the first half, including a penalty, to defeat bitter rivals Sunderland and rack up his 10th league goal in 21 starts this season.
It takes his tally to six goals in the striker's last six games - and he gave a massive endorsement to manager Kevin Keegan's rebuilding plans.
The 28-year-old said: "My contract is up next year but I'm very happy here, this is probably the most exciting time since I came to Newcastle.
"I couldn't be happier with the fans and the new manager - I've enjoyed playing under him. I'm in probably the best part of my Newcastle career so far, and I hope there will be even better times ahead.
"I'm like anyone - you want to push for things and get a trophy and, speaking to the manager, I know he certainly wants the same success. "I've been on a great little run and I wish the season could continue.
"It fills everyone with optimism for the future. The manager wants to get this club back to where it belongs, which is back up there challenging for European places. So the future is looking bright."
Keegan said: "I think he will stay here. He likes it here and we want him here.
"He is the most important signing. "Then we can look at bringing three or four in to boost our squad.
"It would be foolish to search the world for players and not keep the ones who are proven and have the character. "Lots of good players come here and have not handled it. We have to keep the quality we have here."
