Middlesbrough are lining up a deal for out-of-contract Danny Webber as they prepare to launch their assault on the Championship.
Webber, 27, turned down the chance to renew his contract with Sheffield United. Boro boss Gareth Southgate is set to lose Tuncay Sanli, Jeremie Aliadiere and Brazilian Afonso Alves.
