Middlesbrough target Egyptian striker Emad Meteb

Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate is going for an Egyptian hat-trick with a January swoop for Emad Meteb.
Southgate already has Egyptians Mido and Mohamed Shawky on the payroll at the Riverside.
Meteb has also been linked with Everton - but Southgate's middlemen have held talks with the striker's club, Al Ahly.
However, an insider at the Cairo side said: "A Champions League team from mainland Europe are also interested.
"They have met with Meteb to discuss a move."
