Houllier is right choice but will struggle to emulate O'Neill, says Villa legend Morley

Aston Villa favourite Tony Morley reckons Gerard Houllier is the best man to replace Martin O'Neill but fears it will be hard to better his achievements.
Former Liverpool manager Houllier, 63, will be officially installed as Villa's new boss today replacing O'Neill who quit five days before the start of the season.
Morley, 56, who helped Villa win the League Championship in 1980-81 and the European Cup the year after, has hailed the appointment by owner Randy Lerner.
But Morley fears Villa will struggle to improve on three successive sixth place finishes in the Premier League as their rivals like Man City, Liverpool and Everton are even stronger this year.
Morley told Mirrorsport: "Houllier was the best that was available as his experience is enormous.
"He has contacts in world football as well which in the modern day game is very important.
"His track record as a coach has also been good.
"I give Randy Lerner credit because when Martin O'Neill left he took most of his backroom staff with him.
"Randy Lerner could have blown his top but you have to give him ten out of ten for keeping calm and getting Houllier.
"Whoever is in charge though, it is going to be harder than last season for the simple reason Man City have spent ridiculous money and you expect Liverpool to comeback stronger.
"Everton will probably come back too so I just hope the fans do not expect miracles.
"I hope it works out for the chairman as well as the supporters.
"Randy Lerner has done more for the club in four years than some other people have in 40."
