New Middlesbrough boss Gordon Strachan makes Huddersfield ace his top transfer target

Middlesbrough boss Gordon Strachan will put Huddersfield keeper Alex Smithies at the top of his hit-list when he moves into the hot seat.
Strachan takes charge at Boro this week and the club's spies have already compiled a dossier on Smithies as they look for a new number one in a hurry.
Smithies, 19, is already a £1.5million target for Stoke City, so Strachan will have to dig deep to land him - although he is being strongly recommended to take a punt on the youngster.
Huddersfield want a fortune for Smithies, but they could be tempted to sell if a serious offer comes in during the next few weeks.
Smithies only signed a new deal in the summer and is on a sky-high wage by Huddersfield standards.
Boro could take that burden off them once Strachan gets his feet under the table.
