Newcastle United mascot in Mike Ashley poster row

A Newcastle United mascot has allegedly been snapped holding a poster criticising beleaguered boss Mike Ashley.
Toon fan Jeff Taylor claims he took photos of Maggie the Magpie with the poster, which said "No more Geordie cash for Ashley", at the club's home game against Hull City.
The dad, of Denton Burn, said: "Someone told Maggie to take the poster and I took pics. Fans will think even the mascot's turned against him."
But the club said it was a fake - the mascot also denied holding it. But a photo expert said: "It appears untouched."
