Newcastle fans turn up the heat on Mike Ashley

Mike Ashley is facing a fresh wave of fan protests after being accused of not selling Newcastle quickly enough.
The Toon owner yesterday extended his deadline for bids to October 17, with eight parties interested in a buy out valued at £250-£300million.
Newcastle fans fear being stuck with Ashley for months, no new players in January and interim boss Joe Kinnear in for the long haul.
A Nigerian consortium has collapsed after failing to get a top boss to head their bid - with Kevin Keegan, Paul Ince and Frank Rijkaard all refusing to get involved.
Geordie fans plan to write to the club's sponsors, advertisers and corporate box owners, asking for the money men to withdraw their relationship with an Ashleyowned Newcastle.
A nusc spokesman said: "What is clear is that Mike Ashley is not acting quickly enough to end his disastrous relationship with our club."
Former chairman Freddy Shepherd said: "The last I heard from someone in the city, the club has had 100 applications - but 99 of them have been barking mad.
"Getting the right person in is difficult now there's a credit crunch. No one's going to give Mike Ashley a huge profit for the club. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to work that one out."
