Joe Kinnear has issued an apology to the FA for his infamous foul-mouthed rant at reporters.
Interim Newcastle boss Kinnear has been warned by the game's disciplinary chiefs about his future conduct, after using 52 swear words in a five minute tirade at his opening media briefing a fortnight ago. Kinnear branded reporters "c***" after blowing his top just four days into the job.
And he singled out Mirror Sport for special abuse, unhappy his decision to give players the day off on his first day in charge was questioned.
His behaviour was widely condemned, with Sir Bobby Robson saying he "let the club down".
A spokesman said: "The FA has received an apology."
