Gabriel Obertan will miss Newcastle's home clash with Everton tomorrow through illness.
The former Manchester United winger is sidelined by an infection and is likely to be replaced by Sylvain Marveaux as the Magpies attempt to maintain their unbeaten start to the Barclays Premier League campaign.
Cheik Tiote (knee) remains a doubt, while Shola Ameobi (hamstring) will be out for several weeks yet.

Marouane Fellaini is suspended for Everton's trip to Newcastle tomorrow after accruing five bookings this season.
However, fellow midfielder Royston Drenthe returns having served a one-match ban in last weekend's defeat at home to Manchester United.
Phil Neville (hamstring), Sylvain Distin and midfielder Tim Cahill, both carrying knocks, will all have late fitness tests.
