Niko Kranjcar set to complete Tottenham move after passing medical

Niko Kranjcar is close to completing a £2.5million move to Tottenham after passing his medical.

Harry Redknapp made his move for the 25-year-old Croatian midfielder after Luka Modric was ruled out with a broken leg in Saturday's 2-1 win over Birmingham.

Kranjcar will be the third Portsmouth star to be reunited with former boss Redknapp at White Hart Lane, joining Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe.

David James could yet be added to that list, with Redknapp keen to push through a last-minute deal for the 39-year-old England stopper.
