Nottingham Forest are on the verge of making the loan move of Polish international midfielder Radoslaw Majewski permanent for £1.5m.
Majewski, 23, has starred for Forest since his arrival from Polonia Warsaw last summer.
He is in contract talks and Forest boss Billy Davies said: “We have spoken to him and he is very positive.
“Hopefully, in the next few days, we can agree contract negotiations with him.
“Majewski is a player I have recommended should be signed on a permanent basis.
“I am confident he will be playing for Forest next season and it is up to us keep him here for the long term.”
