OM waiting for news on Diarra deal

Marseille president Jean-Claude Dassier believes a clearer picture will emerge within eight days regarding their bid to lure Bordeaux captain Alou Diarra to the Stade Velodrome.
The 29-year-old France midfielder has long been linked with a move away from Les Girondins and there has been contact between the clubs, but OM have so far not agreed to shell out his release fee of 7.75million euros, while Bordeaux president Jean-Louis Triaud has vowed not to budge over the release fee.
"In Jean-Louis Triaud's situation, I'd do the same," Dassier told L'Equipe. "There's nothing scandalous. For us, it's true that it is a little tight, but we'll have a clearer picture within eight days."
Triaud last week promised not to stand in the midfielder's way if he wants to move to Marseille - providing the French champions pay the release fee.
