Outcast Gavin McCann can leave Bolton

Bolton boss Gary Megson is ready to let veteran midfielder Gavin McCann leave after pushing him out of the first-team picture.

McCann has been left to train with the reserves in the past couple of weeks and was overlooked from the bench in the last three games.

Now Wanderers are prepared to let McCann go on loan or find a permanent home in the next window - with Megson on the look-out for new blood in that department.
