Gov'nor Ince blows his England boss chance

Paul Ince has rejected an offer from Fabio Capello to become an England coach.
Capello’s surprise move would have put the former Blackburn and MK Dons manager in line to take over when the Italian quits as England boss in 2012.
The Football Association have made it clear they would prefer an Englishman to succeed Capello.
Mirror Sport understands Ince said no because he is more interested in management than in coaching.
The offer is believed to have come from Trevor Brooking, the FA’s director of football development, but had been approved by Capello.
Had the ex-West Ham, Liverpool and Manchester United midfielder accepted, he would have joined Stuart Pearce and Ray Clemence as another English coach within Capello’s team.
Ince, 42, is understood to have impressed Capello during his short managerial career. He saved League Two Macclesfield after joining the club when they were seven points adrift at the bottom and gained promotion to League One with MK Dons as champions two years ago.
