EXCLUSIVE: Merson out of Sky Sports show after car smash

Paul Merson will miss his Sky Sports show this weekend because of his face injuries from a suspected drink-drive motorway crash.
The Mirror revealed how the Soccer Saturday pundit was arrested after falling asleep in his £40,000 Mercedes and smashing into the central reservation and a lorry.

Ex-England star Merson, 43, said: “I’m not going to be able to appear on Sky Sports on Saturday.
“I’m all right, I’m OK. I’m just a bit shook up. But I’m not doing the show on Saturday.
"I can’t - my head’s all cut-up.”
The twice married dad-of-five, of Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, refused to comment when asked how Sky Sports was treating him.
Merson was driving home from a BBC Children in Need dinner when the crash happened on the M40, near Warwick, early on Wednesday
He was arrested after a breath test at the scene.
