Pictures: Diego Maradona meets the Manchester United squad

"We were like schoolkids around a star coming to school," said Rio Ferdinand after Diego Maradona breezed into Manchester United's Carrington training ground this morning.
The new Argentina coach was ostensibly in town to meet star striker Carlos Tevez, but also presented Ferdinand with a signed shirt to mark his 30th birthday.
"He was my idol and part of the reason why I started to play football," revealed Ferdinand. "To be able to shake his hand, get a cuddle off him and a picture made my birthday."
Aww bless. And Maradona also realised a lifetime ambition by being pictured with Darron Gibson. Here's what happened:
