Pompey to make shock move for Argentine Pablo Aimar

Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp is making a shock move for Real Zaragoza's classy Argentine attacker Pablo Aimar.

Redknapp is trying to do a cut-price deal for Aimar, who has also been talking with Benfica about a £6m switch.

The star can also play off the main strikers or wide. Newcastle and Sunderland have made enquiries but not bid yet.
